We're hiring an appliance repair technician in Tallahassee. Whether you've been turning wrenches on appliances for years or you're mechanically inclined and ready to learn a trade, we want to hear from you.

As an appliance repair technician, you'll drive a company van to homes across Tallahassee and the Big Bend, diagnosing and repairing residential appliances — ranges, dishwashers, refrigerators, washers and dryers. You'll work directly with homeowners (and sometimes property managers and tenants), explain what's wrong in plain language, and get the job done right the first time whenever possible.

• Prior appliance repair experience is a plus, but it's not required — we're willing to train the right person
• Comfortable working with your hands and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable representing our company in customers' homes
• Good communication skills — you'll be explaining repairs to homeowners directly

• Steady, year-round work — appliances break down in every season
• Company van and tools provided
• Hands-on training if you're new to the trade

• Local routes — you'll be working in and around Tallahassee, not on the road for days at a time
